The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern

A book review

My love: ♥♥♥♥♥

I finished it. Half the book in a day, which led to endless imagery in my mind NON STOP. Which is quite bothersome considering I am trying to write my own world. BUT, I have to say is a great novel. It kept me dreaming about the circus. It kept me wondering about the characters. And although I would have liked to see more from the twins and how Bailey managed his role, I have to say I loved the open ending which let you know a story never ends, it only continues on and on. I actually finished it without even realizing I was at the last page.

I read the movie rights were sold to Summit. And some HP producers might join in. Which makes me think of an odd yet brilliant combination. I just hope they use unknown actors perfect for the roles. And they make justice to the tents. Is all I ask. I imagine the movie to be something like The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus. And I kept imagining Lily Cole as Puppet. Haha, loved it. Although I had more difficulty imagining Widget.

Writing style is just what I love. Poetic flowing narration that has an old feeling to it, yet modern enough to be understood.
